About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating mental health diagnoses and creating personalized treatment plans
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and collaborating with our dynamic team to further our mission
  • Utilizing creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals
  • Preparing and submitting documentation for each session, as per company guidelines and protocol
  • Maintaining a minimum caseload of 25 hours of client visits and actively engaging with the community and our valued partners
  • Coordinating services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attending and participating in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
  • A valid state of Michigan License (LMFT, LMSW, LPC, etc.)
  • Clinical training in Play Therapy or Child and Adolescent Therapy, or specialized in child and adolescent therapy
  • Registered Play Therapist credential or other play therapy certification is a plus
  • Experience with completing treatment plans and clinical case notes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner, per the employee handbook
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus)
  • Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels
