About the Role:

This is a long-term contract opportunity for a hybrid developer to work on cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and deploying applications on the cloud, strong microservices experience, and expertise in creating REST APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop containerized applications using Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for software-based projects and products.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand business requirements and create effective technical solutions.
  • Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
  • Ensure quality in all deliverables by following best practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience in building and deploying applications on the cloud.
  • Strong microservices experience.
  • Experience creating REST APIs.
  • Experience with infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka, and DataDog.
  • Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, or Oracle, or MongoDB.
  • Experience with Jenkins, UDeploy, Docker, GIT, and gitflow.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure, with Azure experience being a plus.
  • Knowledge of authorization and authentication management.
  • Prior design or architecture work.
  • Ability to quickly translate business requirements into working features.
