Echocardiography Specialist

Powers Health is hiring an Echocardiography Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an Echocardiography Specialist, you will be responsible for performing echocardiographic studies on adult and pediatric patients with known or suspected cardiac anomalies.

• Perform optimal quality echocardiographic studies using various modalities, including M-mode, 2-Dimensional Echocardiography, 3-Dimensional Echocardiography, Color Doppler, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Exercise Stress Echocardiography, and Pharmacological Stress Echocardiography.
• Provide related clerical responsibilities necessary for physician interpretation and department record keeping.
• Provide patient care specific to procedural requirements and patient needs, under the supervision of the lab's Medical Director and at the direction of the Management Team of Non-Invasive Cardiology.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Participate in the department QA program and accreditation process.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certificate of Completion acquired through an accredited school for Echocardiography.
• Current credentials as a Certified Registered Echo tech (RDCS). If not registered, successful completion of Registry exam by CCI or ARDMS must be acquired within 1-year of hire.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in Echocardiography preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
