Groundperson Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Groundperson to join our team. This role will be responsible for gathering and feeding brush and debris into a woodchipper, scanning areas for trip and fall hazards, and ensuring other workers stay out of the path of travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Previous experience with chainsaws and wood chippers an asset
