PACU Nurse Position at Essentia Health

Essentia Health, a leading healthcare provider in Minnesota, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a PACU Nurse. Located in Brainerd and Baxter, our facility offers a unique blend of small-town charm and access to outdoor recreation.

About the Role:
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
  • Lead a team of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance patient outcomes and quality of care

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. In this role, you will have opportunities to grow professionally and contribute to the mission of Essentia Health.

Required Qualifications:
  • RN licensure in the state(s) of employment
  • Three years RN experience, with one year in a Critical Care Area (ICU, ED, etc.) or one year RN experience in a PACU unit
  • Current certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

  • $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
