Responsibilities:
* Provide specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units.
* Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
* Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
* Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.
Requirements:
* Current RN license
* BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
* Two years of recent Step Down experience
* Strong communication and adaptability skills.
