Job Summary:

Hitachi Global Air Power US is seeking a skilled Assembler Fabrication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling steel panels, doors, and supports according to engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions to accurately assemble components.
  • Utilize handheld tools such as rivet guns, screwdrivers, and drill guns to perform assembly tasks.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Identify and document product defects.
  • Rework and repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
  • Meet daily production, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing assembly.
  • Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets, data entry, and email.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand basic engineering drawings.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
