As a Vehicle Shifter with United Parcel Service, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics network. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently move trailers within our facilities and off-site locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) or tractor trailer with precision and care
  • Back trailers safely and accurately to designated bays
  • Hold a valid driver's license and possess a CDL, with the potential need for a doubles/triples endorsement depending on location
  • Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination
  • Demonstrate excellent driving skills and a good driving record
  • Be reliable, responsible, and possess a legal right to work in the U.S.
