About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lube Technician to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As a key member of our service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the highest levels of vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform express lube duties on vehicles, adhering to industry guidelines and best practices.
  • Lubricate all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends, and ball joints, as part of routine maintenance tasks.
  • Report necessary repairs to the service advisor, ensuring prompt attention to any issues.
  • Install completed LOF reminder stickers in vehicles, promoting customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine checks on vehicle systems, including battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid levels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Record accurate hours worked in the company timekeeping system, ensuring seamless payroll processing.
  • Comply with Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong understanding of automotive parts and systems, with demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
  • Basic computer skills to utilize the timekeeping system effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with customers and colleagues.
  • A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect:
