Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Employment Case Manager to join our team at Assets, Inc. As an Employment Case Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving their employment goals. This dynamic position requires a strong understanding of treatment planning, skill development, and service coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide service coordination and direct/indirect support to individuals with disabilities in community-based employment settings.
  • Develop and maintain quality systems that result in improved support services provided to individuals with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with team members, employers, and community businesses to ensure seamless support services.
  • Advocate for individuals with disabilities and provide individually determined support services/job coaching.
  • Ensure compliance and quality of client services and budgets.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of college coursework or equivalent experience in providing direct services and/or case management to individuals with developmental and/or mental illnesses.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write professional documents, and speak effectively with groups and customers.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Competent use of e-mail, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and e-file management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience providing direct care and/or case management in an employment setting.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles. The noise level at some sites could be moderate to high, contingent upon the specific business. May be exposed to physical and verbal altercations with individuals served.
