Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team at the Skyline Hotel Detroit Airport, SureStay Collection by BW. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to lead our sales efforts and drive revenue growth.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue management strategy to maximize profitability across all areas of the hotel.
• Nurture long-term relationships with customers and grow customer loyalty while generating new business opportunities.
• Assess the company's success through consulting with sales managers and stakeholders, and produce accurate sales reports that include marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing strategies.
• Examine market trends to establish pricing that balances costs, competition, and supply and demand.
• Create and implement short and long-term marketing strategies to meet sales team goals and annual sales targets.

• Prior sales and marketing experience of 5+ years, including some in a sales management role, is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Marketing expertise and knowledge of sales department best practices are needed for this position.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• High diploma or GED and a bachelor's degree preferably in marketing or hospitality.
• Prior hotel sales experience required, preferred directors level experience.

• A competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
