Advanced Speech Language Pathologist

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a leading provider of acute inpatient rehabilitation services, seeks an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. Our mission is to deliver high-quality patient-centered care to those who have experienced a loss of function from an injury or illness.
About the Role:
- We are seeking a dedicated professional to play a vital role in helping patients recover and regain their independence by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
- The successful candidate will communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and patients' families to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to regulatory requirements is essential for this position.
- We also require our Speech Language Pathologist to instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Ongoing education and training are necessary to handle job responsibilities in accordance with Lifepoint Rehabilitation's Code of Business Conduct, corporate compliance agreement, and applicable laws.
- This role involves other duties as assigned by management.
- A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program or certification meeting ASHA standards.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology.
- A minimum of six months experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
- An active and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered.
- CPR certification.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

$83,500 - $118,000 per year, depending on experience
