We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Virginia's Darling, a wine bar & bistro in Old Town, Alexandria. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable experience for our guests, ensuring their satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and beer to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Work collaboratively with the server team to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience as a Bartender in an upscale casual environment.
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktails, including classic cocktails and mixology techniques.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds, as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
