The Holiday Inn & Roberts Center is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Controller with daily and general accounting duties, including accounts receivable and payable processing, collections, auditing, filing, cash deposits, and other related tasks.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and process financial reports, statements, and other documents as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software and systems, including MS Office and QuickBooks.
