Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our public works division, you will be responsible for designing and managing infrastructure projects, including roadways, bridges, and other civil engineering structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Develop civil engineering designs, including plans for grading, utilities, paving, profiles, and cross-sections.
  • Engineering Plans: Create engineering plans using AutoCAD C3D and other industry-standard software.
  • Quantity Estimates: Perform construction quantity estimates to ensure accurate project costs.
  • Discipline Expertise: Cross-train in various civil engineering disciplines, such as pavement, grading, drainage, water, traffic control, and stormwater pollution prevention.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications with multi-discipline engineering teams and subconsultants.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all designs, plans, and calculations are accurate and complete.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in public works projects.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD C3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer (MicroStation/GEOPAK), and ArcGIS.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
