Surgical Technologist Endoscopy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist Endoscopy to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical and invasive procedures.
Responsibilities- Set up and manage instruments, equipment, and supplies for all surgical procedures
- Maintain a sterile field while passing instrumentation during invasive procedures
- Perform accurate counts with the circulator prior to the operation and before incision is closed
- Assist in patient positioning, transporting, and obtaining needed equipment
- Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization
- Assist in prepping the room for the next patient
- Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technologist or Certificate of Completion of the Operating Room Specialist Course from the Military
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is required in the South Carolina hospitals and is strongly preferred in the Georgia and Florida hospitals
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
- One to two years of OR experience is preferred
