Job Description

We are seeking a Forensic/Special Testing Assistant to join our team at FTC/SOCOTEC. This role involves conducting various tests and investigations, including GPR/Pachometer Surveys, Anchor Pull Testing, Slab Load Testing, Existing Condition Investigation, Core Drilling, and Floor Flatness.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct GPR/Pachometer Surveys to assess building envelope conditions
  • Perform Anchor Pull Testing to evaluate structural integrity
  • Conduct Slab Load Testing to determine load-bearing capacity
  • Investigate existing conditions to identify potential issues
  • Perform Core Drilling to collect samples and data
  • Measure Floor Flatness to ensure compliance with industry standards

Qualifications

  • 2-year Associate degree in Civil Engineering (a plus)
  • A car is required for travel to job sites
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Scaffold certifications (a plus)
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively
