The Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified candidate with expertise in adult epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology, and general neurology. The successful candidate will be appointed at a faculty level commensurate with experience and achievement.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret EEGs and conduct neurophysiology studies related to epilepsy surgery
- Lead out-patient epilepsy clinics, including experience in epilepsy surgery and implantable device candidates
- Develop a clinical research program related to epilepsy
- Participate in education responsibilities, including bedside teaching and seminars
- MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
- Completion of residency training in adult neurology in an ACGME-accredited program and training in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology in ACGME-accredited programs
- Board-eligible/board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in adult neurology, epilepsy, and clinical neurophysiology
