Eligibility
This position is open to the public, including U.S. Citizens and Nationals.
Key Responsibilities
As a Seasonal Room Attendant, your duties will include:
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing guest accommodations to meet established standards, which includes making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture.
- Ensuring bathrooms are disinfected, replenishing supplies, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Reporting maintenance issues and addressing guest requests or concerns promptly.
- Maintaining cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, corridors, and elevators.
- Handling laundry tasks, including sorting, washing, and folding linens, while adhering to care instructions.
- Monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, coordinating with supervisors for replenishment.
- Cleaning outdoor areas to ensure a tidy and presentable environment.
- Assisting with the movement of furniture and equipment as needed.
- Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any issues that arise with a positive attitude.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper care for various surfaces.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
Physical Requirements
This role requires constant standing, bending, and lifting of objects, with the ability to lift up to 45 lbs independently.
Working Environment
Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to cleaning chemicals and various environmental conditions.
