Successful applicants will be offered a tenure-track professorship that aligns with their experience and previous affiliations, along with a substantial start-up package. Essential Qualifications: Candidates must possess an MD, MD/PhD, or PhD, with recognized expertise in cutaneous biology research and substantial experience in leading a research laboratory.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center stands as the largest academic medical facility in central Ohio, serving a broad referral network across the region. The College of Medicine has recently achieved a top ranking among public medical schools in the nation and boasts significant external research funding. The Division of Dermatology comprises 18 full-time faculty members, 5 part-time dermatologists, 4 pediatric faculty members, and a fully accredited residency program with 10 residents. Additionally, the department is actively engaged in numerous clinical trials, including several investigator-initiated studies.
A comprehensive tissue biorepository is available, containing over a thousand specimens relevant to various skin conditions. The department currently benefits from grant funding through notable foundations, and faculty members have made substantial contributions to the academic literature.
