About the Role:
As an Outside Sales Representative at Genuine Parts Company, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding our customer base. We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our sales team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute plans to increase sales and grow our customer base
- Promote NAPA's entire line of products and programs to wholesale customers
- Work closely with local store managers to develop strategies for increasing sales and improving customer relationships
- Identify specific customer needs and align solutions with NAPA's offerings
- Collaborate with manufacturer representatives to improve program offerings and enhance customer knowledge
- Engage customers through NAPA's eSales programs and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a retail store or outside sales environment
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-focused role with a proven track record of success
- Strong understanding of basic selling skills, including preparing for sales calls, managing customer meetings, and closing deals
- Ability to present information effectively in group settings
- Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 4 years
