Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Pediatric APRN / Nurse Practitioner to become a vital part of our healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver extensive primary care services tailored to infants, children, and adolescents within our community. Collaborating with a diverse group of healthcare professionals, you will thrive in a dynamic environment aimed at ensuring optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive primary care services for infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Conduct routine well-child examinations, manage acute illnesses, and oversee follow-up appointments.
  • Formulate and execute treatment strategies for patients facing both acute and chronic health issues.
  • Oversee and adjust patient medications, including referrals to specialists as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Engage in quality improvement projects to enhance patient care standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Provide mentorship to clinical staff to support comprehensive care delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Current RN License in Connecticut.
  • Current APRN License in Connecticut.
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred; excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team of healthcare professionals.
