Automotive Refinish Technician with Glass Expertise

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Refinish Technician to join our team at Kal's Motor Group in Wadena, MN. This full-time position requires a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, as well as expertise in glass installation and repair.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing full vehicle inspections, identifying necessary body repair work, and conducting windshield inspections to accurately diagnose damages. They will also repair and replace auto glass components to maintain vehicle safety standards.

• Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify areas requiring repair or replacement. Perform auto body repairs, including removing damaged body parts and replacing them with fixed or new parts.
• Windshield Inspections and Repairs: Conduct windshield inspections to identify damages and accurately repair or replace auto glass components.
• Maintenance of Vehicle Safety Standards: Ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry safety standards.

• Prior experience in auto body repair and restoration.
• Familiarity with automotive paint and refinishing.
• Ability to solder and weld auto body components.
• Prior experience in auto glass repair and replacement.
• Proficiency in auto glass installation and repair techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• A competitive salary based on experience, estimated at $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
