Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Permanency Social Worker at Community Residences Inc. This role involves facilitating supervised interactions between families and children in foster care, ensuring both safety and the nurturing of essential family bonds.
- Conduct in-person meetings with families during supervised visits.
- Transport children to their designated visitation sites and foster care placements.
- Offer constructive feedback to families regarding effective parenting strategies for successful visits.
- Document billable hours and submit monthly invoices to the relevant authorities.
- Communicate and share updates with child welfare agency representatives.
- Manage compliance with contractual obligations set forth by child welfare agencies.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through training opportunities.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a closely related discipline.
- Relevant experience working with children within the past five years.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and planning abilities.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
- Capability to obtain credentialing through Advanced Behavioral Health.
