Caregiver for Seniors

We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Clatsop Care In-Home Services. As a PCA, you'll provide essential support services to seniors and individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being in the comfort of their own homes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, following established protocols and procedures.
- Manage medications, including administering and recording dosages, and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Transport clients to appointments, shopping, and other activities as needed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field, such as home health care or gerontology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation and Benefits
$48,000 - $58,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
