Join a dynamic team at Performance Foodservice, a leading distributor of food and related products. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician Class B, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe operation of our fleet by maintaining, repairing, and overhauling medium to heavy-duty diesel equipment.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including preventative maintenance, tire & wheel repairs, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair, and refrigeration experience.

Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, reefer units, and convertor dollies under minimal supervision.
- Identify root causes of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required.
- Ensure equipment meets safety compliance standards and has required licensing and registration prior to being deemed roadworthy.
- Complete thorough documentation for work orders through the Enterprise Asset Management system.
- Competitive hourly rate: $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
- Sunday - Thursday schedule: 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
- $10,000 Sign On Bonus (Terms apply).
