Ophthalmologist Specializing in Glaucoma

The American Academy of Ophthalmology is currently expanding its team and is in search of a highly qualified Ophthalmologist with specialized training in Glaucoma for a faculty position at various academic levels, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or full Professor. This role encompasses active medical and surgical practices at our primary faculty site as well as at affiliated teaching hospitals, alongside the opportunity to educate and mentor residents and fellows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidates must possess an MD degree and hold board certification or be board eligible in ophthalmology, with fellowship training specifically in glaucoma, and must be eligible for medical licensure.
- The ideal candidate will have a primary focus on glaucoma, with or without additional interests in comprehensive ophthalmology or other subspecialties, and a commitment to engaging in glaucoma-related research.
- This position is designed to provide exceptional clinical training for fellows, residents, and medical students through didactic sessions.
