Key Responsibilities:
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing engaging social media content and campaigns across various platforms.
  • Managing the creation of social media content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Analyzing performance metrics to identify successful strategies and areas for improvement.
  • Supporting the marketing team during events, including social media coverage and operational assistance.
  • Providing customer service support through social media channels.
  • Researching and implementing new digital marketing trends.
  • Maintaining updated lists of digital influencers and media contacts.
  • Assisting in the organization of compelling events within the district, including concerts, festivals, and family activities.
  • Coordinating event logistics before and after events, including registration and attendee tracking.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in customer service or hospitality.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • A self-motivated, creative, and energetic approach to work.
  • Experience in the hospitality or entertainment industry is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
The Marketing Coordinator must be able to:

  • Stand and move about the assigned location efficiently.
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds for promotional setups.
  • Handle various objects and equipment as needed.
  • Bend, stoop, and kneel as required.
