About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Position patients accurately and select optimal imaging parameters to produce high-quality images.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images to PACS, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist (MRI), Medical Sonographer, or Technologist (MRI).
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
