Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled General Pediatrician to join our Pediatric Hospitalist team at Physician Empire. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will provide high-quality care to our youngest patients in a community hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care in the newborn nursery and inpatient pediatric unit
  • Work in a shared schedule with another pediatric hospitalist, alternating weeks and providing coverage in-house from 8am to 5pm, with call from home in the evenings
  • Participate in our Family Medicine Residency Program by precepting residents and students on pediatric rotations
Work Environment

Our community hospital features:

  • A 23-bed level I newborn nursery with 8-bed level II care unit, focusing on supporting neonates through transition into extra-uterine life and facilitating recovery from delivery complications
  • A 10-bed pediatric unit with all telemetry capability, staffed by certified nursing professionals in PALS and ACLS
