Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Inland Empire Utilities Agency. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct inspections and identify potential issues to prevent equipment failure and downtime.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal facility performance.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Valid California driver's license and ability to maintain insurability under the Agency's vehicle insurance program.
- CPR and First Aid Certification, Confined Space Certification, and Forklift Certification required within 6 months of appointment.
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Universal 608 Certification required within 12 months of appointment.
