Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of our facilities, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of skilled and semi-skilled workers responsible for maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical work, and more.
- Work Scheduling: Plan and schedule routine maintenance tasks, setting work priorities and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair equipment and machinery, performing complex repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed work for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all work meets our high standards.
- Education: Eighteen months of post-high school education or training in general maintenance, repair, or a related field.
- Experience: Two years of experience in general maintenance or a related field, with the ability to recognize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, as well as experience with Microsoft Windows and Office software.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods, and frequently walk or climb stairs.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a Distribution Center environment with varying temperatures.
