The Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hearings Judge to join our team. As a Hearings Judge, you will preside over conferences and hearings where evidence is presented, and issue written decisions resolving appeals filed under various acts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preside over conferences and hearings, ensuring a fair and impartial process.
  • Issue written decisions resolving appeals, applying relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with parties, witnesses, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Requirements:

  • Active or judicial member of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA).
  • Practicing attorney for a minimum of five (5) years as a member of the WSBA or other state bar association.
