Overview
Ogletree Deakins, a leading labor and employment law firm, seeks an ERISA associate attorney to join our national employee benefits/ERISA defense litigation practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and writing skills, with a passion for defending employee benefits litigation matters.
This position will support shareholders across our offices, with the preferred location in our Salt Lake City office. We offer hybrid or remote work options for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in our national employee benefits/ERISA defense litigation practice
- Analyze and develop litigation strategies
- Write high-quality legal documents and briefs
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in employee benefits and ERISA defense
- Superior research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong academic credentials, preferably Top 25% of law school graduating class
