Position: Senior Mechanical Facilities Engineer

We are in search of a Senior Mechanical Facilities Engineer to oversee the design of HVAC and Plumbing systems specifically for national defense initiatives. Our team is committed to delivering sustainable solutions that enhance the efficiency of critical installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and coordinate intricate phases of HVAC and Plumbing design projects.
  • Create detailed mechanical construction specifications and system design documentation.
  • Perform engineering quality assurance evaluations.
  • Assist in new project proposals by providing mechanical scopes and cost estimates.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is essential.
  • U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.
  • Active Top Secret clearance is preferred.
Skills and Expertise:
  • Proven experience in the design of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and NFPA standards is necessary.
  • LEED or Green Globes accreditation is advantageous.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to remain seated for extended durations.
  • Capability to work in an environment with minimal distractions.
  • May require lifting of objects up to 20 lbs.
