Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Cardiac Study Center/Pulse Heart Institute. As a key member of our outpatient cardiology clinic, you will play a vital role in assessing and educating patients on their cardiac health, guided by our physicians.

Your responsibilities will include telephone triage, emergency assistance, individualized patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct telephone triage to assess patient needs and respond promptly to emergent, urgent, and non-urgent inquiries.
  • Develop and deliver individualized patient education programs focused on diagnosis, procedures, and treatment plans to enhance patient understanding and care.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and the highest standards of patient care.
  • Serve as a cardiac health resource and educator for office staff and the broader community, promoting awareness and understanding.
  • Monitor and manage abnormal test results, facilitating appropriate referrals and follow-ups while maintaining meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.

Our starting pay for this position is $34.32, and the pay scale is $52.83 USD.
