We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Frontall USA in Canandaigua, NY.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Registered Nurse (RN) to step into a leadership role and contribute to delivering exceptional resident care.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with nursing management responsibilities and support compliance efforts.
  • Mentor and oversee nursing staff, fostering effective communication across all levels.
  • Support the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new staff.
Clinical Operations

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting weekly wound/skin rounds and ensuring effective infection control practices.
  • Addressing residents' medical needs and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Overseeing the planning and implementation of nursing services.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NY (required).
  • 3+ years of experience in long-term care settings (required).
  • 2+ years of management experience (preferred).
  • 1+ year of staff education experience (preferred).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Flexible and organized with the ability to adapt to changing needs.
