Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian Janitor to join our team at Gethsemane Community Fellowship. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our building, ensuring a positive and healthy environment for our members, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the building, including the sanctuary, conference rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, kitchens, and grounds.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and buffing machines.
  • Dispose of waste and garbage in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and reporting safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Assist with special events and projects as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
