Occupational Therapy Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Foundation Schools. As a member of our healthcare staff, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students with varying abilities and needs.

Job Summary:

  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans to promote students' sensory processing, fine motor skills, and cognitive abilities.
  • Administer and interpret occupational assessments to determine students' needs and develop targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with parents and staff to ensure consistent support for students' IEP goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
  • Prioritize effective time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality service delivery.

About the Position:

  • This is a full-time position, requiring a Master's degree in occupational therapy and current licensure to practice in Maryland.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities are highly valued, but not required.

Compensation Package:

  • We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
