Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and providing direct therapy services to enhance students' communication skills and academic performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities, including articulation, fluency, and language processing.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to meet each student's unique needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to enhance students' communication skills and academic performance.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and daily routines.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to achieve effective outcomes.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development and review of IEPs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a full-time caseload effectively.
