At Elliott Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing complex setups and machine tool operations to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual lathes and mills to produce precision components
  • Perform advanced machining operations, including turning, boring, facing, milling, drilling, reaming, tapping, sawing, slotting, grooving, and grinding
  • Work to extremely close tolerances and maintain accuracy in using various measuring devices
  • Read and comprehend drawings, sketches, job scopes, and verbal instructions
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment and notify the appropriate representative for troubleshooting and repairs
  • Document actions by completing production and quality logs

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • Machining capabilities on manual lathes and mills
  • Experience with turbines, compressors, and other rotating equipment is a plus
