Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure site reliability in a live production environment.
  • Contribute to and support software development initiatives.
  • Engage in the building, deployment, and troubleshooting of microservice applications.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing.
  • Identify issues or vulnerabilities within supported systems.
  • Define project scopes and develop acceptance criteria.
  • Commit to ongoing learning of both new and established technologies to optimize system performance.
  • Work with datasets, APIs, relational databases, and event buses.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams across different time zones.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for automated monitoring and remediation of production applications.
Essential Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in scripting or a compiled programming language (e.g., Perl, Python, GoLang, Ruby, Java, C#, Bash).
  • Experience in debugging stack traces, log files, and code changes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with large-scale operations support and remediation.
  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs is advantageous.
