About the JobWe are seeking a Registered Nurse with 12 months of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care in a safe and effective manner, promoting quality patient outcomes as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities- The ideal candidate will perform the nursing process across the continuum to deliver age and developmentally appropriate patient-family-centered care.
- They will integrate values and language preferences into healthcare delivery through a culturally sensitive process.
- Utilizing clinical decision support tools and resources, they will recognize issues, prioritize care, and modify the plan of care as needed.
- Appropriate documentation tools will be used to record, measure, and retrieve healthcare data.
- Patient and family education will be provided appropriate for identified learning needs.
- Nursing care will be planned and provided that is safe, effective, and financially responsible.
- The successful candidate must have 12 months of RN experience.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
- Previous pediatric experience is also preferred.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification within 1 year of employment as required by department is also required.
At Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, we offer a competitive salary range of $68,000 - $93,000 per year, depending on experience.
