Key Responsibilities
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at S.J. Louis, you will:
- Work in diverse outdoor settings, tackling challenges and ensuring optimal equipment performance.
- Diagnose issues, conduct inspections, and perform maintenance on various heavy equipment models, including but not limited to Caterpillar and Komatsu.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks and engage in minimal welding as needed.

Qualifications
To excel as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at S.J. Louis, candidates should possess:
- A thorough understanding of construction equipment maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and gasoline systems.
- Experience in heavy equipment repairs and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in working with hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures and management directives.
- A valid Class A or B CDL license with a clean driving record.
- The ability to travel regularly as part of a rotation schedule.
