Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Traveling Heavy Equipment Mechanic who thrives in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery at various job sites, ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at S.J. Louis, you will:

Qualifications

To excel as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at S.J. Louis, candidates should possess:

  • A thorough understanding of construction equipment maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and gasoline systems.
  • Experience in heavy equipment repairs and diagnostics.
  • Proficiency in working with hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures and management directives.
  • A valid Class A or B CDL license with a clean driving record.
  • The ability to travel regularly as part of a rotation schedule.
