About the PositionWe are seeking a qualified Pediatric Critical Care Medicine specialist to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility in Springfield, MO. As a locum tenens physician, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities- Provide critical care services to pediatric patients
- Manage ventilator-dependent patients, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Perform bronchoscopy with bronchial alveolar lavage (BAL) and other diagnostic procedures
- Insert chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines
- Evaluate and manage acute volume/BP issues, including exchange transfusion and temporary pacemaker placement
- Interpret EKGs and manage ICP
- Perform diagnostic therapeutic taps, including lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
- Active MO license
- BC/BE in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- ACLS, ATLS, and PALs certification
This locum tenens assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a rural healthcare setting, addressing critical healthcare needs in an underserved area.
