The Medical Collector represents the face of Synectics to patients who come in for insights into life-defining health decisions. The Medical Collector draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The Medical Collector has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. The Medical Collector will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. The Medical Collector performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. The Medical Collector maintains required records and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general. The Medical Collector performs daily activities accurately and on time. The Medical Collector maintains a safe and professional environment. The Medical Collector has a high school diploma or equivalent. The Medical Collector has the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. The Medical Collector has the ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. The Medical Collector has excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and adult patients. The Medical Collector has medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. The Medical Collector has phlebotomy certification preferred. The Medical Collector has a minimum of 6 months experience. The Medical Collector has one year of phlebotomy experience preferred. The Medical Collector has customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. The Medical Collector has keyboard/data entry experience a must. The Medical Collector works Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
