Mechanical Inspector

Job Overview:
As a Mechanical Inspector at Holtec International, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products. This position requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of dimensional control principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform receipt and in-process inspections on materials and components for use in fabrication
- Document and record inspection results, reporting any discrepancies as required
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety procedures and guidelines
- Collaborate with production teams to set up materials and components for inspection
- Review Certified Material test reports to ensure conformance to purchase order requirements

Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this role include standing for long periods, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and using repetitive motion. This position may also require exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year prior experience performing dimensional inspections and using measuring tools
- Understanding of GDT (Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing) required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
