Operations Supervisor 2nd Shift

Job Summary:

As a 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor, you will provide on-the-plant floor support and leadership to the team to meet production goals and customer quality expectations. You will work closely with the team to ensure all processes and procedures are followed, and that the team is trained and prioritizing safety daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team to achieve production and quality goals
  • Work with scheduling and logistics to ensure the achievement of daily production and quality goals
  • Ensure team members are accountable for safety, production, quality, and policies and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and implement changes to drive efficiency and standards
  • Communicate company news and issues to team members
  • Be a safety champion and ensure the team is trained and prioritizing safety daily

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associates or Bachelors' Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years manufacturing leadership experience
  • Strong People skills - Must work through the team to achieve goals
  • ISO knowledge and experience helpful
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution
  • Strong Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP software skills
