About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Associate to join our team at Marsh McLennan Agency. As a Data Insights Associate, you will play a critical role in creating comprehensive documentation, training materials, and change management resources for our data and analytics tools and reports.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data and analytics tools and reports, including user guides, process flows, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Create instructional materials and training resources to support the effective use of analytics tools and reports by colleagues across the organization.
  • Serve as a backup for the Metric Insights report surfacing tool, reports developed in PowerBI, and Access Management at MMA.
  • Collaborate with the Data Strategy Manager, product managers, IT, and regional colleagues to define the scope and requirements of analytics tools and reports.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure that all necessary instructional guides are in place and accessible to colleagues.
  • Establish and maintain a robust training platform to facilitate the onboarding and ongoing training of colleagues on analytics tools and reports.
  • Develop and execute a stakeholder engagement communication strategy to ensure effective communication and adoption of analytics tools and reports.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate colleagues on the use of analytics tools and reports.
  • Gather feedback from colleagues and stakeholders to continuously improve the usability and effectiveness of analytics tools and reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Science, Technical Writing, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in creating documentation, training materials, and change management resources for data and analytics tools and reports.
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics concepts, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and content management systems.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Metric Insights report surfacing tool, PowerBI, and Access Management is preferred.
