Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Extrusion Operator for the 3rd shift. This position is vital in the production line, ensuring that all products adhere to quality standards and production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain extrusion machinery to manufacture high-quality plastic components.
- Configure and modify machine settings in accordance with product specifications.
- Supervise machine operations to guarantee efficient production and compliance with quality benchmarks.
- Diagnose machine malfunctions and execute minor repairs as necessary.
- Assess finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications.
- Uphold a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in plastic manufacturing or a similar field is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading a metric ruler and micrometer.
- Mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
- Experience with molds and dies is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to follow precise instructions.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and maintain prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Forklift operation experience is advantageous.
Compensation:
The pay rate for the Extrusion Operator position is $19.00 per hour.
